Windows Audio Issues
π Verify that your Volume Mixer volume is set to 100%
Make sure that your Volume Mixer volume is set to 100%. Sometimes the Volume mixer might be muted due to other software installed in the system. Let's double-check to make sure this is not the case.
1οΈβ£ Right-click the speaker icon on the taskbar at the bottom right of your screen.

2οΈβ£ Click "Open Volume Mixer".
3οΈβ£ Verify that your main output device is set to 100%.

4οΈβ£ Verify that your game/application audio is set to 100%.

π Verify that you are using the correct output device
The most common audio issue is that the output device is not set to the correct option. This could happen automatically when installing drivers and software - or just because Windows feels like it. Make sure you're using the correct output device.
1οΈβ£ Right-click the speaker icon on the taskbar at the bottom right of your screen.

2οΈβ£ Click "Sound Settings".
3οΈβ£ You'll have a list of output devices to choose from. Select the correct output device.
π Update your audio drivers
Updating your audio drivers is one of the best ways to make sure your equipment has the latest and greatest. This can also help with certain DACs (Digital to Analog converter) that do not come pre-installed with the drivers.
1οΈβ£ Right-click the Windows icon on the taskbar at the bottom left of your screen.

2οΈβ£ Find "Device Manager" in the list and click to open it.
3οΈβ£ Right-click the arrow next to "Audio inputs and outputs"

4οΈβ£ Right-click the device and click "Update Driver".
5οΈβ£ Click "Search automatically for drivers".
